Bike Buckeye Lake offers three distinct bicycling courses throughout the day, all circumnavigating Beautiful Buckeye Lake. The three courses consist of:  our 38 mile expanded route, our 25.4 mile standard route or our shorter 8 to 12 mile mini-routes. The route is well marked with arrows and signage; a route instruction sheet is available for each of the 3 rides indicating turns and distance between turns; a digital route is available to those riders with the phone app.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25th at Buckeye Lake Winery. Riders may sign up ahead of time ONLINE or just show up the morning of the tour. All riders must go through the registration process that morning to get their materials whether pre-registered or not. Riders may begin the tour immediately following registration – there is no mass start. Each rider will be required to wear a helmet and to complete a registration/release form at which time each rider receives a voucher for a complementary beverage at Buckeye Lake Winery and wrist band to receive a complementary ice cream at Papa Boos.

There will be two rest stops for the 25 and 38 mile rides. One will be located at Brooks Park in Fairfield County and the other at North Shore Boat Ramp in the Village of Buckeye Lake. Water, snacks and restroom facilities will be available at the rest stops.

Safety signage and police cars with flashing lights will be present at points in the route where traffic needs to be alerted to slow down for riders crossing the road.

The first 200 riders to register will receive a grab bag with various goodies from regional businesses. The post-ride party will be held at Buckeye Lake Winery featuring live music and lunch menu. One hundred percent of proceeds from the cycling event benefit the development of multi-use trails around Buckeye Lake and the Bike Buckeye Lake Christmas Bike Drive, providing bicycles to underprivileged children.

Following the tour there will be a post cycling party with live music at the Winery. Enjoy their lovely lakefront view, excellent selection of food and wine, plus craft beer from Buckeye Lake Brewery.
