Bruce Ridenour

Bruce Ridenour is an entrepreneur and local business owner based in Thornville, Ohio. He currently owns Highpoint Outfitters in Thornville.

Bruce developed a lifelong passion for cars, bicycles, firearms and motorcycles during his youth. After a 20 year career selling and managing sales people in the Tech sector, Bruce started Motohio European Motorcycles in Columbus, OH, before transitioning to the automotive sector. In 2007, he acquired Newlon Motors, securing approvals from Ford and Chrysler, and opened Ridenour Auto Group in 2008. Under his leadership, the dealership provided full-service sales and maintenance to Perry County residents for over 14 years. In late 2022, Ridenour sold the business and moved full time to Thornville in 2023. He acquired Highpoint Outfitters in 2024.

Bruce holds an MBA and a BME from the University of Dayton.

Bruce has been married to his wife Nancy for over 30 years. They have two grown children who reside in Minneapolis and Albuquerque. The whole family enjoys bicycling in its many forms and rides together whenever they can. He wants to share his love of bicycling with the community and hopes to help grow safe and sustainable opportunities to ride bicycles in the area. If you ever go riding with Bruce, he will certainly tell you “I love to ride my bicycle!” every time out.
