Paul graduated from Youngstown State University and subsequently the University of Dayton with a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He had a 39-year civilian career primarily working for the US Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base along with two of those years spent working at the Pentagon. He worked on many major weapon system acquisition programs including the C-17, F-35, KC-46, F-22, F-35, F-15 and Special Warfare with several of these serving as the overarching Chief Program engineer. Paul also was instrumental in developing, publishing and enforcing key systems engineering policies governing critical safety practices while implementing system engineering processes across all the various phases of weapons system acquisition.
After discovering the Buckeye Lake area in 2020, Paul and his wife Tammy fell in love with “lake life” and moved here part-time before retiring full-time at Buckeye Lake in 2025. Paul and Tammy have four daughters and five grandsons who love spending time at the Lake.
Paul is an avid sports fan and lover of the outdoors and associated activities. He enjoyed many years of coaching and mentoring youth little league baseball players and now keeps as active as possible walking and biking throughout the Buckeye Lake region.
