ODNR Peninsula trails

  • Goal: To support ODNR efforts to pave trails running along Buckeye Lake peninsula to ensure handicap access. 
  • Status (as of 12/22):
    • ODNR installed 3 limestone trails in 2021-2022 (Brooks Park and 2 @ Fairfield Beach) enabling people to bike or hike these peninsulas with great views of the lake.
    • Next step:  securing  funding for paving for the trails and bollards to keep vehicles off of the trails
